When I first bought my home a few years ago, I did not like the carpet at all. My husband thought it was a good idea to have tile installed throughout the house. So we go to Home Depot and buy the tile to cover almost the whole house. We have a friend that installs tile for a living, so he was going to be the one installing the tile. I wanted this granite looking tile, but they wanted almost $3 per tile for the kind I wanted. My husband said that the tile I picked out was going to be way to expensive with how much we were going to buy. His choice was some black tile that was under a dollar per tile. Okay, black tile shows everything. You have to literally sweep and mop a couple times a day to keep it clean. This is having a family of six though.

I have worked around this by buying large area rugs to cover the living room and dining area. I am hoping to be able to purchase some new rugs very soon for my home. I am one that likes to change my house around to get a new look every so often. Having rugs can really make your house look classy and elegant in my opinion. You just never know when someone is going to come over your house that you want to impress. You can even roll them up and store them for that special occasion because I have not figured out how to clean them yet! I just know I want them.
