Content Finder Plugin

When I logged into this blog today, I seen a link for new WordPress plugins for today. I decided to take a peek. I read about a new plugin called Content Finder that some of you might be interested in. When you install this plugin, you are able to quickly add free keyword targeted articles to your blog. You can post articles to your blog in just a click! How neat is that?

Tried To Add A Paypal Button To WordPress?

Many of you have probably tried to add a Paypal button to one of your WordPress posts. You might not get the result you were looking for. I know this happened to me and I searched for the answer. I found a post online that was helpful titled “Paypal Button In A WordPress Post“. I have this bookmarked and you might want to as well!

Scratchback – My Fancy Tip Jar

Have you heard of Scratchback? It is a cool tip jar plugin for WordPress. It’s not new, I seen it back in February. It is new to this blog though. If you look in the menu bar to the right, you will see a orange graphic “Are You In My Top Spots”. What this does is allow you to leave me a tip for my blog and get a link back to your site at the same time. The plugin is very easy to use too. You go to their site and signup for a FREE account. Then you create a widget for your blog. You will be given some code to place on your blog and you are ready to roll. In just a few minutes, you can have your own tip jar on your blog too!

When you receive a tip, you will receive 90% and Scratchback gets 10%. Sounds pretty fair to me. I have seen this plugin on many other blogs with the spots filled up, so it works!

Do You Want To Remove Dates From Your Blog Posts?

I have been working on a new blog the last few days for my Mommy Enterprises website. It is an article blog so I was looking for the option to remove the dates from the posts in the WordPress control panel. I couldn’t find where to remove it so I started my search online. Luckily I found a plugin made just to do this. With this plugin, you can remove the date from all posts, certain posts or even remove the date after so many days. I installed the plugin last night and thought it wasn’t working at first. I then realized it does not work on the homepage posts but when you click the individual posts, the date was not there. This works for me! If you are interested in this plugin, please visit: http://www.dailyblogtips.com/date-exclusion-wordpress-plugin/

The Paypal Donation Widget

I am sure that many of you have seen the Paypal donation button on websites and blogs. I generally see it more on blogs then I do a website. I have never added this feature to my website but came across something interesting today for those of you with blogs. If you have a blog and want to add this Paypal donation option, there is a easy and free widget that allows you to create this option for your website in probably less than a minute. You just put in the size and your Paypal email address and submit.

To get this widget or more information, visit: http://www.widgetbox.com/widget/paypal-donations-button

** Update ** After posting this, I went in and typed in my paypal email address and got the widget code and placed it on this blog. Very easy to do. If you look in the right side menu, you will see the widget at the bottom.

Need Help With Youtube & WordPress

Every time I have ever tried to embed a YouTube video on one of my WordPress blogs, it throws my whole blog template off. I even posted on a forum for an answer why this was doing this and I got no real answer. Today I was creating a post and again the YouTube video made my blog look all messed up. I did a search on Google for a solution and got a YouTube video with the answer. Below you will find your answer on how to properly embed a YouTube video on your WordPress blog. It worked for me!

Are You Going Naked For Askimet?

I was reading Lorelle's post day titled "Are You Willing To Go Naked For One Day For Askimet". I guess on December 15, 2007 Askimet challenges its users to turn off Askimet for one day. Now this sounds scary to me, Askimet saves me lots of time from having to moderate lots of spam comments daily. I own many blogs, so the number of times Askimet helps me per day increases quite a bit EVERY DAY. I honestly am not sure if I will take the challenge but would like to see the stats from what the users provide.
