I dread watching the news these days. I rarely see anything that puts a smile on my face when watching the news. I do hope that they pass one of those Stimulus packages this year. All I can do is hope and pray that it passes. I have a few bills I would like to catch up on. I am one that is seeing an effect of this so called recession we are in. I don’t let it get me down though.

For those of you involved in online businesses, has this recession caused your business to go downhill? If you have an online business and don’t have a way to accept credit cards, I would suggest finding a way. Many people are turning to their credit cards to make purchases because their cash flow is depleted or not coming. There are many out there taking loans for their businesses. I, myself have to avoid any types of loans because I want to prevent any more debt than I already have. For some though, loans are the only answer for survival. Some are turning to credit card factoring to get cash advances to make it till the next payday. Sometimes I wish I still had my part time job that paid all the bills and then some. Then again, I enjoy being at home with my family working my own darn hours!

There are many of us Americans struggling each day because of the way the economy is. I have to admit that I am making less money than I did not even 6 months ago. I used to have a ton of equity in my house, now I am lucky if I have any. I keep my head up though, hoping that things will go back to normal again soon. I just love buying baby clothing. I have 2 friends and a sister in law that are pregnant right now! My son just turned 1 years old last month and I love dressing him in cute and unique clothing. I have 3 daughters and they had their share of new clothes as well as hand me downs from their sisters. With having a boy, he is getting almost everything brand spanking new.  Most of my family has had girls, so he has lucked out on getting the hand me downs. I have bought lots of clothes and shoes online. I am one that prefers to shop online to stay away from the crowds. I consider any shipping I might pay the gas I probably would have used driving around shopping.

I don’t mow lawns at all. I tried mowing my lawn one time and had a hard time starting the lawnmower. I am glad I have a husband who is in charge of the landscaping department here at my house. I have found when I have reformatted my computer in the past, I will need a driver or two! I usually have been lucky to find the driver online by searching my favorite search engine. Thank goodness for the internet because I would be lost without it. When my kids have homework and I don’t know the answer, I look it up online. The internet is my answer to almost everything! You have no idea how many times I have had to research the answer to something. My 6th grader will come up with a question like “what is the circumference of this and I have to ask her what a circumference is. I would not do so well on that show “Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader”.

Anyhow, I came across a helpful blog that deals with information on drivers. There is even helpful information like How to keep your PC fine tuned. The blog is called “Drivers For Windows“. You might want to keep it in your bookmarks in case you need to look up information on drivers in the future. The blog has a search feature to search through all the different posts.
